The Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin in UK

Ofgem, the English Issuing Body, issues REGO certificates for each megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity produced by renewable plants that comply with national requirements, in line with the European ones.

The purpose of the certificate is to demonstrate to the final customer that a certain amount of energy is produced from renewable sources. As such, the primary use of REGOs in Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the electricity labeling. For this purpose, electricity suppliers must communicate to potential and existing customers the mix of fuels (coal, gas, nuclear, renewable and more) used to generate the electricity supplied.

How can we work together?

We actively trade REGO certificates and we collaborate with various market operators to facilitate access to advantageous solutions and promote renewable energies in the UK. With our light structure and team of professionals, we make things happen fast.
